First stakeholder meeting for NATALIE Case Study #2 in Romania "Freshwater Habitat Restoration in Urban Ecosystems"

On March 21, 2024, the Business Development Group (BDG), a partner of the NATALIE project, held its first stakeholder meeting for the case study #2, titled "Fresh Water Habitat Restoration in Urban Ecosystems”. The meeting took place in Bucharest, and brought together key stakeholders to discuss the vision, objectives, and planned activities for the co-design and implementation of several nature-based solutions in the Vacaresti Nature Park (NATALIE partner) and the Children's World Park, both located in District 4 of Bucharest.

Participants included specialists from the General Secretariat of the Romanian Government, Bucharest Municipality, universities, and relevant NGOs focusing on climate change adaptation.

FieldFactors experts, also NATALIE partner, contributed to the meeting and will be conducting field trips to the case study sites in the coming days.

These discussions are crucial to ensure that the project’s initiatives are aligned with the needs and expectations of the local community and stakeholders.
