Being aquifers one important system for Nature-Based Solutions, aquifer characterization and numerical modelling are critical steps to analyze current and future NBS scenarios. The Groundwater research Group of the VUB, partner of the NATALIE Project for the CS#5 in Flanders, Belgium, participated in the IAH2024 Groundwater Congress, held on 12 September 2024 in Davos, Switzerland, with two oral presentations provided by Marylidia Villagran, with a focus on the work done during the first year regarding these topics.
During the meeting, exchange of ideas and further dissemination of the NATALIE goals and CS#5 were discussed with participants working on similar research, looking for synergies and future cooperation.
