NATALIE Canary Islands Demo Site #4 at Urban Planning as a Tool for Climate Action conference

The Government of the Canary Islands recently invited the NATALIE partners AQUATEC and CANARAGUA to share insights at the conference titled "Urban Planning as a Tool for Climate Action" held in Gran Canaria on October 24 and 25.

At this conference, representing the NATALIE project, J. Soler and R. Herrera presented their expertise in nature-based solutions (NBS). Their presentation highlighted the importance of NBS as adaptation measures, emphasizing their potential to reduce disaster risks and provide essential ecosystem services, particularly within the context of the NATALIE project and CS4.

During a roundtable discussion, they joined experts in exploring how cities can address the challenges posed by climate change.
