The NATALIE project showcased its pioneering work on groundwater management at the Sustain Istanbul 2024 Congress: Towards Sustainable Groundwater Use under Changing Climate, held from 9-11 October in Istanbul, Turkey. Representing NATALIE, Noelia Cruz Pérez and Joselin Sarai Rodríguez Alcántara from the University of La Laguna (ULL) presented their study titled Sustainable Groundwater Management in the Canary Islands: Implementing Managed Aquifer Recharge and Nature-Based Solutions. This comprehensive presentation explored the unique hydrogeological characteristics of the Canary Islands and the advanced strategies being employed to address water scarcity.
